HOPE
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40: 31
We welcome you to the New Year; a new chapter yet unlived, loaded with divine blessings waiting to unfold. The last year, (2021) was a long and trying one for many people all over the world. We won some battles graciously but also lost some. We celebrated some victories but still wished some other dreams would turn out as planned. It was not an entirely a roller coaster journey but with gratitude, we step foot on the shore of the New Year, convinced in the promised presence of God that it would be a fruitful and productive year.
We encourage you to cast your rags of doubts and the shreds of anxieties in the withering flames of the fading year. Look to new horizons and come into the year with renewed confidence in the Word of God. Too often we put our trust in things that are bound to fail and in people that are liable to disappointments. It is time to put our hope in God.
Remember, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not dry when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit” (Jeremiah 17: 7-8).
No more tinkering with the dross of doubt or condescending to the excruciating power of low self-esteem. That can ruin your health and endanger your wellbeing. Too much worry weighs the heart and impedes one’s productivity. Enter the New Year believing God will make a way for you in the wilderness. Be of a positive mind and believe He will cause the lines to fall for you in pleasant places. This hope will keep you; it will be health to your soul and life to your navel.
Yours Sincerely,
December B
