EXPRESSION
“For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so do not use your freedom as an excuse to do evil”
1 Peter 2: 16
The freedom of expression and the right to do or be whatever we want is part of the qualities that make us humans. We have the free will to make choices, set priorities, and commit according to our convictions. However, this freedom of expression has led people into things that ruin their peace and steal their joy, such as harmful habits, toxic relationships, unhealthy and ungodly lifestyles, etc.
As God’s children, our lives are meant to be the expressions of God’s love and grace. We are not saved to live outside the will and love of God. Rather, we are to live for His glory and serve His purpose with our lives through the healthy and godly choices we make every day. Jesus called us the lights and salts of our generation, and this behooves us of the responsibility to live purposefully for the glory of God and the betterment of humanity (Matthew 5: 14).
Moreover, utilizing your freedom for God is beyond the rituals of religion. It is a commitment of positivity that should serve as the guiding principle for every facet of life; that includes the food you eat, the environment you live in, the association you keep, the things you love, the goals you set, and every other thing that concerns you.
We at Anointed Touch Health and Beauty believe your daily choices have enduring effects on your physical, spiritual, and mental health. Therefore, we encourage you to be deliberate about prioritizing godliness and healthiness in the ways you live your life. Being free is not a license to sin or a permit to be reckless. Believe in yourself and find the discipline to keep growing. Do not be afraid to live fully but be cautious you do not hurt God, others, and yourself in the process. Remember, we are called to freedom and must never use it as an opportunity for selfishness but as a platform of love and service to one another (Galatians 5: 13).
With Much Love
